The sad reality of living in today’s world is that we live in a fast-paced society. One where we have to work smarter, and not just harder. Be it work or school, there is so much to do with so little time.

Therefore, we have to get some external help to survive, because the human brain can not work at full capacity all the time. Neither is it healthy, nor should we glorify working that hard all the time.

However, the silver lining of living in today’s world is that while there is so much to do, we also have a lot of help at our disposal. Technology allows us to get more done in less time. One such way to do so is through AI productivity tools that can help us manage our workload by automating tasks, and simplifying our work process.

To help you jump on the AI bandwagon, I am sharing the list of my favorite AI productivity tools that have helped me stay productive and do my work efficiently.

Otter.ai

Are you someone who has to attend back-to-back meetings all day, every day? If so, then I feel you.

With multiple meetings scheduled every day, it is impossible to stay alert during all of them. Plus, we tend to zone out during longer meetings. In this scenario, missing out on an important point is very likely.

Otter.ai is a powerful meeting assistant tool that can help you catch up to those hour-long meetings. It has excellent note-taking capabilities, which helps you remember all that goes on in a meeting. It also transcribes meetings, which is great for record-keeping.

Plus, it also summarizes meetings and allows you to review them in minutes. It can also automatically get action items from a meeting, and add them to your to-do list. Otter.ai is also great at generating real-time captions during meetings.

Lastly, it integrates smoothly with work platforms like Salesforce and Slack, which makes it way more helpful than a stand-alone meeting assistant. However, one minor disadvantage is sometimes it is unable to transcribe complex accents.

Mem.ai

If you are someone who has to deal with a bucketload of documents and text files every day, Mem.ai might be able to help you.

This tool is like your personal ChatGPT that is trained on your own data, rather than data from all over the internet. You connect Mem.ai to your personal data, and it saves you from scouring through lengthy documents and notes for hours.

It acts as your second brain that can fetch information from your notes and documents in seconds.

Moreover, it also acts as a note-taking tool where you can take notes, and it will organize them for you. It does wonders for your productivity by helping you save time spent searching through notes and documents.

Apart from adding value to professional tasks, it can also improve your personal ones as well. For instance, I love to take online courses every now and then. Mem.ai helps me review my course notes in minutes, and keep my learning fresh.

One slight drawback is that it relies on the internet for its AI-based features. So, you need to have a steady internet connection at all times to use Mem.ai. If you are not satisfied with your current connection, you can look for affordable and dependable internet near you on platforms like LocalCableDeals.

They feature multiple internet providers with a variety of internet plans and can help you find one that suits your specific needs. Plus, their customer service is also available to help.

Tome.ai

Do you know employees spend 100 hours on average every year making presentations on PowerPoint? What if I told you that you can save time using AI?

While it has many other use cases, Tome.ai can make engaging presentations and pitch decks for you from a single prompt. It does this by using generative AI, and can do wonders for your workload. It generates both text and pictures based on your prompt and takes your feedback at every step.

Moreover, you can also choose from a variety of professional and engaging presentation templates. All you need to do is write a detailed prompt, explaining your goal, the topic, and the kind of presentation you want, and Tome.ai will generate it for you in minutes.

You can control the quality of content, the tone, and even the outlook of the presentations. It can generate presentations for sales pitches, annual reports, lectures, press releases, portfolios, etc. It also provides user engagement insights on your presentations, so you can edit them to make them more compelling.

What I like the most about Tome.ai is that you can integrate it with tools like Google Sheets, Figma, and Miro to give it a knowledge base for creating presentations.

One small downside, it tends to put in information without any factual backing, so make sure you fact-check everything.

That is it for my top three AI productivity tools. Using them, not only can you save your time, but you can also automate a lot of tasks using them.

Here’s to a productive 2025!
